Re: Interesting Frost River Lucasfilm Lawsuit
I’m still stuck on Frost River’s assertion that a studio has to “ask permission” to use a product in a film. LOL. The interest runs the other way: companies PAY for studios to use their product in their films; the studios don’t ask permission. It’s only a problem if you defame their product. I don’...

Hey, Whipster! I bet we can narrow it down. Is it light weight for heavy? If you can get a close-up of the grain, I bet we could nail it? Judging by the look of it, it looks heavy, like HH or cow. Being the cheaper hide and more plentiful, that would be a guess, but either cow or lamb. I'm not sure...

Raiders is the easy choice, but ToD is my #2. As others have said, Ford's physique made the jacket look fantasic and very contemporary. Physically fit people make clothes look better, that's why models can make even the ugliest clothes shine.

I've had suede jackets of mine dry-cleaned to get rid of the cigarette smell and it worked. Most dry cleaners have to send it out as only very few places do that kind of cleaning. I actually went to Aldo yesterday and found a black pair that is a closer knock-off of an Alden minus the speed laces. Unfortunately they don't have the model on the website yet. My problem with a black version of the Alden is that it tends to look very orthopedic.

Someone tried using an Indy jacket for a motorcycle jacket before, and if I recall, one problem he had was that the jacket billowed out and rode up on him as he rode.
