Re: Need help on refurbishment for a hat.

I was gonna ask the same thing. I’ve got a AB Raiders in beaver that Steve Reblocked for me. It was at the end of his hat making days and I have to admit it’s not what I was hoping for. He got the size wrong and it just looks “wonky”.
I’m in no rush. Does Steele & Jones do reblocks?

Netflix Stranger Things Fedora

Has anyone noticed Sheriff Hopper's fedora on Season 1 of Stranger Things? It has this crazy hybrid Crystal Skull/C Crown bash with no ribbon. It just looks great on him. Awesome character and awesome 80s sci fi/fantasy homage. Must see tv for sure.

Central Florida here. I've picked up a couple of Akubras this summer and I wear them more than my Penmans. They are a much lighter hat, especially without the liner. I've worn while doing yard work and in downpours. No issue with taper so far. If it gets wet I just pop out the bash and start over wh...

i like the liners but not wild about the plastic. Here's what I do. 1. Remove the liner. 2. Take pair of scissors, start a whole and cut along the stitching. 3. Remove the plastic, then pull the perforated end along the stitching on the backside. Great way to remove the plastic and keep the liner at...

Well, the Fed IV Deluxe Moonstone 59 came in the other day. Funny how each hat is different. Ordered the same way I did for the Brown, adding my size and shape of head, yet was just a tad big out of the box. I'm sure it will shrink so no big deal. Even though it's a factory hat, each has its own sma...
