Saw the film, enjoyed it. Missed the holster but lots of good shots of the strap and buckle. Hadn’t seen a thread on it yet so…

Thanks for the props guys! Some folks have asked me if I’m opening up my shop again, and the answer is YES! I started Derwood Leather and have been supplying an online retailer with exclusive products. However, I’m free to do Indy Gear on the side on my own time. I’ve set up an instagram, check it o...

David Morgan Whips still worth it?
I'm posting because I'm a little confused about my whip. In 2014 I purchased a brand new 453 from the David Morgan Website thinking it was an investment sort of. Cost me $875 with shipping (I have the receipts and paperwork). I did the same thing I have done for my own whips and for many other peopl...

Indeed. I have one of these MKIV .38 replicas. It's fun and opens and the shells pop out but it really isn't the right Webley. It fits perfectly in the Raiders holster. If you want to see pics just ask. It's still a fun replica for the price. It's also the Jack Harkness revolver from the Doctor Who ...

I agree with Magnoli on the kukri for adventures in the jungle. Seems awfully practical for cutting through the bush. Also, I agree with possibly the bowie. That also depends on where you're standing at any given time too. :-k Exactly. Come on over to Nevada. They don't care if you walk down the street with a ninja sword and an AR-15 strapped to your back as long as it's visible. But you can't have a 3.5" knife in your pocket. :-k I was just in Bi...

Re: Orange tip your replica with an ear plug
I've been using earplugs to put orange tips on my replicas so I can sell them on Ebay for years. They've gotten wise to it lately though and keep taking my auctions down because they see the earplug. Part of the reason I stopped selling finished replicas.

I will have to agree with flyderf on this one. Chrome tanned leather is very bad for your skin and the environment. The EPA no longer allows chrome tanning in the US therefore it's only done in Mexico and China now. It's hard to distinguish the types and it doesn't always say 'chrome tanned' on the ...
