Wool has the unique ability to act as a breathable insulator. It helps keep the body at an even temperature and does not conduct heat. This means that during hot or cold weather it will keep you at a constant temperature. This is due to the small pockets of air formed by the fibers of the fabric.

Because of this thread my wife now calls my larger shoulder bag that I have talked about here a man purse just to razz me. So it goes to show you that regardless if it's a gas mask bag, a messenger bag or another military bag, it can still be called a purse. So like others have said on this thread, ...

I like the shoulder bag in general but I have a costume version of the MK VII and besides that I think the MK VII outside of an Indy gear look or costume does come off a little purse-like despite it being a military bag. I think it's the size of both the bag and thinness of strap personally. Again t...

The bag itself is about 14 inches long and about 10 1/2 inches wide. It's about 3 1/2 inches thick and the shoulder strap is very adjustable for a pretty long sling down. When you buy it the strap is buckled to the shortest position though. I am 5' 10" and have it set on the next to longest buc...

confession

OK, here's the thing in my case. For one I started reading this site only about a month ago when I decided to put together this year's Halloween costume as Indiana Jones. Every year my wife and I build very detailed costumes for Halloween and I wanted the Indiana Jones to be just right. Little did I...

New Target Indyish bag

I bought one of these to feel the Indy vibe while not quite having to commit to being called out for wearing the actual MK VII. Plus the big bulky buckles are pretty cool.
