I have been using Lexol on My ToD Lamb Wested for 8 years. It works great.
I buy mine at the local Tack store because it’s less expensive there than at the auto parts place.

Lexol on lambskin works very well. I have had my Wested ToD Lamb jacket for 7 years. I Lexol it once every spring before I put it away for the summer. I think for Lamb, Lexol is the answer; it’s easy to find in any Tack store.

I do not spray inside the hat. I do however, spray the under brim.
This helps keep stains from my grimy fingers off the hat......at least I think it does......

Many years ago Mr. Michaelson told me to use Meltonian Shoe Cream, the color was BRICK. I have been using it with great success on my 405’s for the last 7 years.
The brick color darkens the leather just right.

I have used Lexol every fall on my lamb ToD jacket; it’s 7 years old.
Lexol works fine. I also use it on the leather seats in my car, on my belt, on the sheath of my survival knife from Viet Nam, my briefcase etc.

Cabelas opened a huge new store in St. Louis last week. They carry only the short sleeve Safari Shirt. Perhaps the long sleeve version will appear in the fall, but I was disappointed not to be able to buy one.

I have been using Lexol for about 6 years on my Wested Lamb ToD jacket. It works great!
I also use it on just about anything I own made of leather; my belt, briefcase, seats of my car, tobacco pouch, etc.
You usually can find it cheapest at Tack shops.

I have always used the brick color shoe crème as well.
My Aldens are 5 years old and look great.
For new Aldens, I would suggest a good coat of Pecards left on for a day or two, buff that off and then come back with the brick color polish.

They were curious why I was buying that particular style of Alden, and amused when I explained the significance of the boots.

For many years foam shaving cream has been the “secret” of baseball players for quickly breaking in a new glove, but I’ve never heard any one using it on a jacket. My first piece of gear was a custom-made fur felt Raiders fedora from Levine Hat Company, St. Louis, Missouri. Still the best Hat I ever owned. It is 20 years old this year and still looks new.

I have a Sovereign. It is a nice piece of fur felt. Not an exact “Indy” hat by any means, but close. I had a hat manufacturer here in St. Louis put on a darker hatband. Not to “one-up” you but I got mine at the Stetson factory outlet in St. Joseph, Missouri for $22.00.
