Yes, they seem more practical than the Aldens. Don't get me wrong, the Aldens are uber cool but not really a practical field boot IMO.

Yeah, good luck finding the Rockport Farnums in a variety of sizes these days or the J. Crew boots from last year...

Not everyone wants to dress up *just* like Indy. :wink:

Orvis boots - close enoughs?

I came across these on Orvis' website and they are a pretty nice looking pair of boots even if far from SA.

BTW, if you have an N frame S&W and want to get closer to "the look", S&W will sell you the same grips they're using on the Model 22's for $55. Round or square butt according to Larry at Customer Service.
