Very true. But whether it shrinks or not, just giving it the curl has (in my experience) given it the snug fit around the crown.

Aye, hair length / amount is a major factor. When I cut my hair in May, my Camptown that used to give me a headache if I wore it for any longer than a minute fit like a glove. Of course, now that my hair has grown back out quite a bit, the Camptown doesn't fit again. #-o Good Christmas present idea....
