I can't believe it. I haven't been posting here in a while but back when I used to be a more frequent poster, Walt was always very kind and understanding. I met him at the Queen Mary summit in 2004...he helped me learn how to use a whip there and handed me my first accurate fedora after I won it at ...

He made Captain Jack's hat? I don't recall that. He said all he made was the waist coat and the belts. I asked him about the hat and he replied "I don't think so."Indiana Ken wrote:He didoklahoma_jones wrote:I wonder if he made that sweet leather tricorn hat......AAARRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHH, MATEYS!!!!

At the QM SUmmit Saturday Night dinner he sat at our table (:D). Anywho, there he told my parents and I about some of the films he had recently finished. He had just finished making various things for the latest Harry Potter film (for characters like Mad Eye Moody and Hagrid) and is also currently w...

I have a Natrual Tan Winrich (8' 12 Plait). At first when I got it, it was VERY light tan, and not really screen-accurate color. However, I did like the looks of the color and that's why I purchased the natural tan. I've had it for about a year now, and believe me, it looks VERY screen accurate now....

It includes my impression of a certain skinny little character from Lord of the Rings. ENJOY!

A whip in a film has a beautiful 'Wallappooo'. They have that at the zoo around the monkey cages, too. ^ ^ ^ Great explanation there TheFish! I tested my theory of 'slowing down the sound' today b filming myself doing some cracks. I then went to my editing program and looked at the raw footage. The raw footage's sound was horrible! The whip just made a sound like a twig being broken, and it didn't so...

They actually slowed them down and made them louder? That's it?! Awesome!!! Are you positive? In Christ, Shane That's what I do anyways. I record my whip in an empty room (usually my school gym) and then take it to my sound editor, and slow down the sound. I imagine they do something like t...

As Jpevh wrote, there could have been NO way to fit the three Shankara Stones in a regular MK VII. I think what they did was just make it a little bigger in width. In the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at WDW, the stunt Indy had a HUGE MK VII repro. It has drain-holes and everything. :? Maybe Lucasfilm ha...

Indytwist, A great place to find a really well crafted whip at an exceptionally good price is www.winrichwhips.com. I know that Adam Winrich has made whips for several of the people in this forum (including myself) and I'm sure that anyone of them in here will vouch not only his craftmanship but hi...

The wool one *****. If you want an official one get the fur felt version. Accurate in size? :? What does that mean? The pin won't leave a hole in the ribbon. Yes, get the fur felt one. So far, the Indy store in California has the best trinkets. They carry a large variety of Dorfman hats and of course the paper thin Indy jackets. They look good, but I wouldnt wear one of those jackets for much more than going to the grocery store. 1.) The store in WDW has better stuff unfortunally...

I live in California where you can't even carry a toy gun that looks like a real gun. Even an orange cap is not enough here, it has to be some bright color or transparent. Um, well, I live in Southern California, and I even took the caps off while shooting a film, and i didn't get in trouble. Hec -...
