Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!

I just received the new hat and it is absolutely perfect, somehow even more absolutely perfect than the first absolutely perfect version from 2008, which is a little too big for me but otherwise absolutely perfect and beautiful in every way. I had not realized his current situation and feel very bad...

The site still says 8 weeks max.

What happens if a new customer has no idea this forum exists?

Re: Desperate

The current web site says 4 to 8 weeks for the versions I ordered. I assume this still stands. I am currently on week 20. He was still taking new orders as of June. I ordered 3 hats. After placing my order he wrote back to me immediately when I made a clarification in size. No reply in October when ...

Re: Tony Nowak and the Legacy of Doom

Here's the photo http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/jpenman/DSCN0276.jpg He was so giving of himself and his time. He played and joked with the two boys. He gave both of them jackets. He gave Malcolm ( my sisters kid) a Arnolds classic 2009 jacket just to I don't know him like his personal frien...

Re: Jacket sighting .... any awkward experiences?

I wear the Nowak jackets around anytime its under 69 degrees out but I have yet to hear anything. Funny though... I had Tony create a non SA version of the Indy 4 with Raiders leather recently without the action back or buckle thingys in the rear and 3 people have made INDY comments so far. I highly...

Re: How heavy "hot" is Tony Noway CS jacket?

I rented a convertible so I could wear my first CS
from Tony while driving around at night in August
but, for me, it feels most comfortable when it's at or
below 60 degrees out.

Re: Nowak Jacket Owners Thread

Also had him make a second CS jacket so
I could keep the first one nice and
have one to "beat the @#$% out of".
Semi darker this time. Looks very different
depending on the lighting.
From light and velvety to choco dark.

Indy or not!

Tony Nowak rules. My second CS from Tony in the photo link here, and we had him create our company jackets as well. My first CS jacket had a tiny bit of thread coming undone at the end of the sleeve due to my abuse while we were in Japan, so I brought it down to a tailor known for top class jacket r...

Can the HF CS jacket be zipped up?
One thing I noticed is it's always open in the front about
this much.

Is it smaller in the back to sort of force it open?

Holy smokes. I was at Tony's today and had a chance to check out the Raiders jacket. And yes, this is THE Raiders jacket, in my opinion. It's like Tony ripped this thing right out of the screen ala last action hero magic or something. It's that dead on. I don't see how anyone else could ever get cl...

Whip hanging from web belt in Indy 4?

In Crystal Skull, when Indy and gang escape from the first truck truck and jump over to the duck, Indy is wearing his whip as usual, only he no longer has his gun belt with the whip holder thingy on it. His whip is at his side like this for the rest of the film, web belt only. So how is he still car...

Lurking since this summer, first time poster so I could put in my good word for Tony's fantastic work. Drove straight down to his El Segundo studio after getting off the plane from Japan. Was done in no time (didn't want to leave, what a great guy). 3 weeks later the nicest jacket I've ever owned wa...
