Re: Ordered a Wested one month ago... not here yet

Yes, I quote Ian. My LC Custom took about two month and a half because they haven't Novapelle at the time I've ordered my jacket.
Anyway, Gemma told me by email that I had to wait. But they have a pretty awful email service and many mails where lost due to the anti-spam filter.

Re: brass plated web buckle

I have bought my last web belt on eBay from member skylight16 wich have a shop called Fool's Jooles . I've choose the predistressed one and I have to say that it seems to be solid brass: I used some fine sandpaper to it to rub off some of the distressing and no clear metal have seen on surface. ;) Y...

Re: Todd's boots distressed

Inspired from the Wade Egan weathering process and the beautiful color of the Tundraraider's 405's I finally decided to weather and darken slightly my Todd's boots. I've used several steps to obtain a leather color that seems used but not artificial (abrasive sponge, rocks, dark brown shoe polish, f...

Re: Another disappointment from wested

I own a Wested custom LC in Novapelle: I love it but the handwarmers are difficult (but not impossible) to reach. I think (repeat, THINK) it depends on the design of the jacket itself and not by a Wested mistake; the harmholes are strange by design and the jacket tends to stretch when arms are open ...

One thing I haven't seen is the argument for wool pants in the woods. Wool is the kind of pant you want to be in if you were to fall in the water - they dry out faster than cotton and will wick the water away from you. People who live in the woods know the importance of a good pair of wool pants......
