Looks pretty good. I would think with a little hand shaping on the brim it could pass for an Indy hat. I mostly want it for display and as a costume at halloween. Don't need to invest in the more expensive hats. Thought this looked like a good alternative. Thanks for the pictures.

I bought a Country Gentleman wool felt in 1984 or 1985, and just sold it a few months ago. It was one of the best looking in that price range. I don't know if their current block is identical to the one I had; I'd like to see more pictures from different angles. I will try to find the photos I took...

Found an affordable Indy style hat. Need advise.
Hey everyone. I was searching for fedoras and given a tight budget thought I was going to have to get the Dorfman Pacific hat for about $40. Came across a hat website that had one called Raider. Here is the link. http://www.thefedorastore.com/Country-Gentleman-Raider-LiteFelt-Crushable-Fedora-p/7222...

I use mine mostly on the weekends when we are traveling. Holds whatever I need for the day. Even works great to carry both video camera and digital on vacation trips. Probably the best and most useful prop I have ever bought. As for the people that think it's a purse, I think there is only one thing...

Well I got them done. I too used the $5 fabric from Walmart but couldn't find any snaps so I used velcro and buttons for the look. I skipped the metal disc on the side and put pockets on both. Found the brown web strapping from strapworks.com Really cheap. Something like 17 cents a foot. The girls l...

It's funny to see your pictures. I just recently got a MK VII bag for myself and my two daughters 5 and 2 years old now want their own Indy bags. Even though they've never seen the movies. I'm currently working on their bags and really like what you have done. I would suggest adding another seam on ...

How do you clean an MK VII bag???
Hey everyone, I'm a newbie here and had a question. I just found a original MK VII bag from a surplus store in the UK. It arrived today in great shape but smells like it's been stored in a mound of hay for the last 60+ years. What's the best way to get the funk out of it? Do I dare put it in the was...
