I think the jacket looks really good. Congratulations.
Holt,
Are you sure it's not a custom? The jacket has the made in England patch under the inside pocket. Mine is a custom and mine has that patch too.

I think the jacket looks good. I wouldn't worry about the "squirrel effect" unless you walk around normally with your arms out like that.

Im still also a big proponent of the "natural distressing" idea. It adds character to a jacket when it ages naturally, not artificially.

Re: Todd's Jacket Owner's Thread
JC1972, I too am 6'3" tall and I once ordered a Todds Standard in XL. The 25" back length wasn't too bad, but the front is what made me send it back. When I zipped it up, it seemed way too short for me in my, and my wife's, opinion. If you were to only wear it unzippered, it might not be t...

Thanks Solent MKIII, but I already have a case removal tool like that. I bought one on ebay with some extra moon clips. You'd think spending what I did for that gun that it should have came with the tool already, right?

I ordered a custom Raiders jacket on May 28th and received it on June 11th. It's awesome! I stated that I wanted a silver 5 gauge zipper and I got one on mine. I only emailed a few specs along with the jacket and I got everything I asked for. I never even called them after I placed my order.

Smith and Wesson Model 22 Question
I recently purchased a S&W model 22 1917 .45 ACP revolver, my first gun. Does anyone know if I can use .45 auto rim cartridges with this gun instead of having to use the moon clips all of the time?

Try deleting the search history and the cookies from your computer. I recently had that error come up on a different website when I was trying to order something. I think once you do that, the problem should be fixed.
Hope this helps.

What kind of buckles did you ask for on your jacket? Are they the slider buckles that Wested has on their site?
Thanks.

Aldens Heel Replacement
How do you know when its time to get the heel on your Aldens replaced? I use them almost daily walking at my university which proved to cause quite the wear on the heels. The back edge of the rubber heel is almost worn down to the first wooden shim. Im not sure when to get them fixed. Any info would...

Not to be a downer, but the boots in the above pics look way too red to me. I thought the hero boots from Raiders were supposed to be brown. Maybe its just the camera or the lighting. Also, what is all that black goo at the back by the heel? For $700 Aldens should have cleaned those up a lot better.

This Friday will be exactly 11 weeks ago to the day that I ordered my Alden 405's size 13D's. I just got a call from a guy at the shoe store and he told me he called Aldens today, inquiring about my order, and they told him it would be another 4-6 weeks. That means a total of possibly 15-17 weeks fo...

For you hatmakers out there, what size wooden hat flange, or brim block would be needed to curl up the brim on an Indy style fedora? I am going to order one online and they come in various sizes. I know the Indy brim was around 2 3/4, but what size hat flange would I need to give it that nice curl? ...

Best Place to get Raw Fur Felt Bodies
I recently got the itch to try and make my own hat. I found a few websites that offer 100% rabbit fur felt hat bodies, but I can't seem to find any place that sells 100% beaver.
