I believe what he found is the same buckle as well. Of course I have no proof but I sincerely doubt that anyone alive or dead could possibly remember what vintage item they took those buckles off of. If you have Windows Media Player you can do screen grabs. It's called the "snipping tool". You have to go into the help menu somewhere and find it.

Could just be the wet-forming of the pistol too. After holsters are formed they tend to twist and take on a different shape.

When Magnoli first offered the Roy Hobbs jacket it was available in what he called a "cheap Chinese leather" which is why it was $195 I guess. The leather he uses now is light years better and the price now reflects that.

Don't buy the 1" strap from Tandy, it's WAY too thick for a bag strap. I got some and it's almost 3/16" thick! It's too thick to even fold over onto itself.

I prefer the Todd's strap (for the color) and the Adventurebilt buckle. I've tried all the other combinations and this one works best for me and what I see on screen.

Jackman is wearing the holster cross-draw or "Cavalry" style. Most mounted horsemen wear their pistol cross draw because it's easier to access when seated in the saddle.

It all depends on your shoulder width Henry. My shoulders absolutley fill out the Todds shirt and therefore the epaulets are dead on for me but someone with narrower shoulders than me would have the epaulet drooping down their arm and it would appear too long. No doubt Magnoli's shirts are nice and tailor made, however they are made of a heavier cotton twill and some features are not screen accurate. Mag's shirt has a top stitch around all the seams (like the Wested shirt) which the original did not and I don't believe it has the pen pocket either.

That National Geographic sweater is the Orvis WW2 "Mechanics" sweater. Orvis sells them for $98.00.
Orvis also has some really nice cardigans like in MOTB. You should check them out.

The older style Finnish gas mask bags are even closer than that. I saw 6 or 7 on Ebay yesterday. At a glance they look almost exactly like a MKVII.

When I first put the hat on it was a little bit loose and tended to rest on top of my ears. I've worn it since on a few hot days here and the sweatband got sweaty. A couple days later I put it on and it's snugged up a little. It's just getting better and better.

No, the over the pocket pleat was not done on any of the other shirts.

Here you go, Crystal Skull pockets. As you can see, there is the pen pocket. You'll also notice the pleats are sewn over the top of the pocket, thereby making the pocket unusable and merely decorative.
