My jacket arrived today. Size Large.. like I mentioned, I have a 44" chest and 34" waist 72.5" (or 72.75" on a good day) tall. Here are a couple of quick pics as it looks straight out of the box. and yes, I KNOW my hat is rubbish but it's just a stand-in.. I used to have a good o...

Re: Todd's Jacket Owner's Thread

Glad to see those numbers :P I bought a jacket there over the weekend and the measurements page is nowhere to be found. I ordered a large. I'm about 6' 1/2" with a 44" chest and 34" waist. I hover in the 190s for weight. LOOKS like I got the right size but I suppose we'll find out :P ...

I removed the small pocket and added a larger one that can be used for a cel-phone calculator, whatever. I used a TI-30Xa for the pics... Its actually about 4.5" wide now... Yeah I meant to have it deeper but I wasn't thinking. Wouldnt be TOO much trouble to remove / replace it. I might do that later if I'm feeling up to it. I'm in insomnia mode right now and who knows how long that will last. I could be up 3 more days or 3 more ...

I had HOPED that it would work for that but after seeing this http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o176/d_jedi1/Gear/Custom/P1010268.jpg I've changed my mind. Lemme see... IIRC it's 13.25" X 9.5" The rear pocket? divider? is 1.25" from the back. (on my normal sized one I just have it sewn right up against the back.) The front pocket is sewn right up against the front (same as I did on mine) I added a small pocket to the rear divider that co...

:D Those are great looking bags. I hadn't thought about splitting the rear pocket in the way you do (although it's probably more accurate than what I did on mine).
Like I said they look awesome.
BTW where do you get your O rings?
I have had trouble finding decent ones and yours look great.

I'm on it... I draw my patterns up in 1/4 scale but I can do them bigger if needed.
I'm making a prototype so you can see how it would look if the pattern is followed.
I'll post pics as I make progress.

lol its a part from an old broken cd player. It had the right look to it so I popped it apart, made a small incision in the fabric, and put it back together.
I sometimes make hardware lightsabers so I keep junk like that around for a little while.

Thanks, last night I started on my full-sized bag. I'll probably finish it later today (or tomorrow depending on how I feel [and where my wife drags me]) Like the Child sized bag, it's not 100% SA, but it will be close enough (for my tastes). My intention is to have it be something that I would use ...

I dyed some cheap Khaki pants that I got at Target for $10.00. My wife wanted to go to JoAnn fabric and I saw Taupe Rit dye so I got it (they had a coupon for like $1.00 off of whatever you bought) so for something like $11.50 I ended up with some reasonably close pants (well reasonably close for ME...

Child Size MKVII bag, now with a full sized one!!! :D

I recently watched the Indy movies with my 6 year old nephew (his first time). He fell in love with the character instantly.. he wanted a costume and he especially wanted a whip.. I'm not going to give a functioning whip to a child that young.. well, not this one anyway as he has some anger issues. ...
