You'd be fine putting around town, but the jacket isn't suited for more than a few miles at low to medium speeds. I've never had a problem with the collar, but the sleeves ride up a lot and with the barrel cuffs it just doesn't work.

Nice choice of bike. Mine is a 2000 Triumph Thunderbird.

All of them are based on the Belstaff Trailmaster's of the 1920's. This design even made it's way into the US Army field uniforms of WWII. Got a response from Berkshire that they don't stock the thicker cables in rhodium/chestnut. They're special ordering them and should be here at the end of this month. Good enough result I guess, but if I hadn't noticed... :roll:

Sorry, a little late, but you can darken the brass by exposing it to vinegar vapor.

I have a great leather mail bag repro on which the strap buckles were just slightly more aged than the bag buckle and rings. Tried it and it works great.
