wow, those ARE long straps.. you weren't kidding. to loop mine back, I just fed them back through the last part that it comes through.. a yank on it pulls it back out and it hangs loose through the pair of sliders.. another option I just thought of which might hold better is to put the strap through...

looks great! even though it has that dark spine thing down the back, it's hardly noticeable.. I have one of those on my sleeve of all things.. I just gave mine a tumble in the dryer on low heat for 10 minutes.. looks a bit darker now and is much less new-feeling

certainly looks closer than IJ's pockets.. besides the unfortunate trend that the pocket size is not adjusted with jacket size, one would hope the placement would not be extended away from the center the more sizes up one goes

Mine came today, and they look just great and fit perfectly. Will give them their first test drive tomorrow for 10 hours of commuting and work. They feel good & solid, much moreso than the rockports I've been wearing the past few months.. at least double the weight..

sometimes it's just too cold for a leather jacket (one that doesn't have lining etc).. I feel the same.. when I got my first jacket, it soon got too hot to wear it.. December I got my 2nd, a thin lamb ToD, it was too cold!!
