Thanks Croft! No worries. Question for Karolian... how much extra material do the trousers have on the waist? In case for example a size 34 needs to be enlarged to a size 35 in the waist? Cracking the mystery of the MBA Shirt Colour formula.
For all DYIers, I just wanted to share my experience during my last dyeing process trying to replicate the MBA shirt colour using Azuma's Raiders shirts. This process should work with any shirt as long as the original colour of the shirt is removed. Some garments may be dyed with super durable pigme...

Hi micsteam, I would say that currently the most accurate pants closely to the original fabric, color and design are offered by Magnoli. Re: Wested Shirt Color
Hi Green,
The Wested shirt is a polyester/cotton mix rather than 100pct cotton and it will absorb less colour from the formula.
I would suggest you then to increase or double the dosage of the mix, not reduce it. Using RIT Colour remover before dyeing is a must.

He was one of the costumiers who worked partly for the designing of the Raiders costume and fully in the ToD and LC movies.
Wested indeed had in their possession the original costumes when Noel Howard passed away and they took a lot of notes about the patterns.

Yes, they indeed look much better than before! The only thing you can do right now to make them look more indy-ish, is to remove the creases with an iron. That's almost remaking the whole pant. Be careful, taking out extra material underneath the crotch can just result in a lower crotch. True! Yes, they taper a bit.
I would advise you to flat iron them first and then take them to a tailor and enlarge the area from the knees to the ankles and "take out" extra material below the waist underneath the crotch in order to achieve a straighter cut.

Hello to all,
I was wandering what the latest version of Wested trousers look like. I have noticed that are a lot of variations in the final product that don't depend on the time of the acquisition.
Any pics would be very helpful. I might be in a need for a new pair.
Many thanks!

As I understood, Peter has the control samples(which are swatches) that Noel Howard had stored for his own references. He also has the patterns of both shirts and pants.
Therefore, I think that it's easy for him to specify the correct colours.
