ok trying for more height on the crown, managed to get about half an inch there and added a little curl to the sides and a down turn turn on the front edge of the brim. Have a ruined it ? ](*,) Ps its a Fed IV

The whole prcess made me take a fresh look at the jacket and man is there a lot of leather under the arms, najor flying squirrel too. Ok so here it having pretty much air dried. Even after just 1min under cold water the sleeves seem to have lost about 0.5 inch. It does seem to have added a little character to the sleeves though, dont you think ? Ps sorry about the shirt, it aint pink but the flash seems to think so ! http://farm4....

Here is my Wested OFR ROTLA in lamb follwing treatment with sandpaper and Swiss Army knife just before i took a cold shower in it. I will post after shots when it dries. Ok i have just got out of the shower ! Went in for 1min. To be fair to Peter i was surprised out how waterproof his jacket is even after i had the sandpaper and swiss army knife at it. I hated the jacket when i first got it but i am starting to like it a lot. I will now post before pics on the jacke...

Anyone weathered a wested lamb in the shower ?

I have two westeds, a snug miltary fit one and one thats more sa that i have weathered with penknife and sandpaper. The hide i note is quite soft and thin, has anyone done the shower on theirs, would you recommend it and if so how do you go about it ?

I have a "Top Gun" USN-spec Goatskin G-1 which i cannot rate highly enough. The only reason i have not bought from them again is the amount of duty i got stuck for at my end! My advice, get one!!
