I didn't spot all the colours though. Do you know if Dylon is changing production or something similar? or the colour chart is just a sample of colours? I think it's just a sample; I noticed that Reindeer Beige doesn't appear on that site's colour charts, but I've seen it in the shops over here, an...

On a tangent, I've been watching Magnum, P.I. on DVD over the past couple of days, and noted that the characters wear a lot of safari/military style shirts. It amused me that the episode I watched just after reading this thread had Magnum wearing a shirt that was almost exactly like the one in this ...

Heyo, Dylon dyes are much easier to locate than Rit here in NZ, so that's pretty much what I use for dying clothes, MKVII bags, etc. I find that I prefer working with the permanent Cold Dyes where possible. I'll add that you can also use the multi-purpose dye in a bucket if you don't have a suitable...

Following in Ham's footsteps, I dyed my Magnoli satchel yesterday. Finding Rit dye here in Hamilton seems to be an issue, so I used Dylon Cold Dye instead (Leaf Green). The result (please forgive the moiré patterns affecting the middle two photos): http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/7193/img1828yu3....

Always good to see a fellow Australasian. (I hope that term doesn't offend you Kiwis) :D Australasian is fine; Australian, well, them's fightin' words. :D Who's the guy you bought the MkVIIs off? Good condition? I got them from a guy named John Newsham. He also offered me a couple of cheap S6 bags ...

New guy mit new stuff. And some old.
Heyo, I’ve been lurking around here for a bit, reading pretty much all the posts in every forum, and have finally decided to get around to acquiring some gear. Now, I’m very much in the “close enough” camp when it comes to Indy gear, and most of my stuff reflects that; I like to bring my own style t...
