Have found that vinegar works as far as getting the cat pee smell out of things, but not sure you'd wanna soak your hat in vinegar either.

Just make sure that the boots don't have Teal colored shafts. Wish I had a picture, but saw a guy buying farm diesel at a gas station outside Scotsboro, AL last month: Teal boots with his jeans tucked into them. :shock:

I have an LL Bean "Flying Tiger" from 1993. Well before I got into Indy at all. It fits great!! But it is from 1993. Back then Bean sold them in even chest sizes 42, 44, 46 etc. Today they are S,M,L,XL. The knit cuffs are great in cooler weather and driving a convertible. Can see why aviat...

Rather hot in these parts for a felt Fedora in the summer. But I wear a Fedora 3 seasons of the year and a Panama in the summer.

Agreed. It's my 'go-to' hat in my collection when the temps and humidity start to climb here in South Central Tennessee. IF you order one, just be sure to ask them to NOT install a liner, but to put in a cap sticker like they do their cowboy hats. It makes the hat MUCH cooler that way. Regard! Mich...

Explorador is softer to the touch and fuller feeling. "Rich" for lack of a more technical term, describes the felt.

Not bash-turned, but I turn my hats when driving my convertible. About 10-15 degrees to make it stay on at hiway speeds. Brim warps and swoops just like the pics from Raiders.
