Hello everybody! It's my latest whip I made. 9 ft 12 plait, kangaroo hide. Lead under turk's head. Not very heavy, so it doesn't tired the hand when cracking. Try to get some used whip of known maker, or new 8 plait whip. It should cost around 200-250 usd.

If you want you can always take nylon whip. Those are cheap and good whips(for me only poor substitute

).

Hi, You can use anything, that will not bend. Yes, stick it under the lace and pull up. Be carefull to not pull out begining of the lace from the knot :P.
