Sweet! One of the first guns I ever fired was an old Model 10. For pretty much any purpose one can imagine asking a handgun to realistically fulfill, they just don't get much better. Congratulations, that's a beauty and the grips do look terrific. Personally, I wouldn't even bother with the lanyard....

Either Alex Green's DVD Whip Cracking Made Easy (available from Western Stage Props) or Anthony De Longis's Whip Cracking with the Masters, or both, would be excellent additions to your video collection. They are both very good; if I were forced to choose one, it would probably be Anthony's.

My WORD I love that guy's whips. That is just a thing of beauty to watch. The roll out is only superseded by the sound of that hard hitting crack at the end. Awesome! I wish I could find one of TJ's seven foot stock whips. David Morgan stopped carrying them.

OK, I'll go first --

The Smith and Wesson has a slight edge over the Colt, which has a not-so-slight edge over the Webley. And they are all excellent guns, proven on the battlefield and elsewhere many times over.

Another way you can tell it's a Hi Power is by looking at the trigger when Mac appears as Indy and Mutt are climbing out of Orellana's tomb. Ray keeps his finger all the way forward in the trigger guard and you can see the Hi Power trigger very clearly.

I think the 8 footer is the easiest to learn on. The action on a 6 is so fast, when you're learning it's hard to make adjustments or even see what you're doing right/wrong. I liked the disarm a lot, just wish there would have been a lot more whip action. I was hoping since HF is older, we would get more whip and gun action in the movie, which are my faves anyway. But no. :( There was more whip action in Zorro 2. The whip is what gave the character so much of his flavor...

Chiliana, you are stylin' in your Prague ensemble, IMHO.
Especially with the classic Chuck Taylor Converse, as was previously noted. A fedora totally works with jeans, provided the jeans are dark enough, b/c jeans go with anything and everything. (Or, at least, they do in my world.)
