Now that is a nice lid, citRon. It looks great on you even if it is wool model. You can have one made from rabbit or beaver felt using the same specs and you're all set.

It seems to me that you will receive a quality hat from any of the fine vendors mentioned in this thread. PB produces a quality fedora at his price; Akubra Federation is also a fine product; Keppler, AB - etc. You get my point. It comes down to personal preferences, the shades of color, crown height...

Thanks for the tip. My size is 7 1/4 - 58cm. and I wonder if I could make it fit. Does anyone know the brim size or crown height on the Peter Bros.? Their web site doesn't say.
