KT showed me some photos of a buddy of his's novapelle jacket after several months of rain, snow, etc without pecards and it looked great! So I wouldn't worry about it.

Congrats on an awesome looking jacket, Mike! Far as I'm concerned, it's worth every penny - I don't think you overpaid at all. I'll be honest, if Belstaff did a line of the original three jackets, you couldn't stop me from going into credit card debt to pick up a Belstaff TOD and LC - simple as that.
