Re: Bill Kelso's Relic Hunter
Thanks guys! My jacket is a 38R. It fits very true to size, so if you want a sleek fit go with your usual jacket size. That's weird, because I feel like the jacket (and I think Andy has said so) is a fuller cut, not sleek at all, which is for the most part, what I see on the screen. My former Tony ...

Part-way into the stormflap. Gorak's photo above shows it, kinda. Not exactly midway, more like 1/3 towards the edge. It's lined up with the zipper teeth on the inside.

I've seen teaser photos of Canasta's jacket, and I. LOVE. IT. I honestly feel it's got more of a Screen Accurate vibe (color, grain, and drape) than my Victory Horse, not that I'm complaining. Tyrloch, congrats on pulling the trigger!!!!

Re: Bill Kelso's Relic Hunter
The liberty seems softer to me than the Victory. Also lighter than the Victory. The Victory is still stiff after breaking in, but it's not stiff to wear. In otherwords, all the movement points are broken in, but some parts of it are still stiff. I don't mind. It doesn't drape like lamb, but it's not...

Re: Bill Kelso's Relic Hunter
I don't think it's a heavy jacket. I never owned a US Wings Bison, but it's probably heavier than the G&B goatskin I once owned. It's stiffer than any jacket I've owned, but weight-wise it seems similar to cowhide.

Photoss, your jacket looks great! I think the color is spot on, but you got to go with what's in your mind's eye, Tyrloch.
My Russet BK has started to darken with exposure to the sun. But I don't think these darker leathers would do the same.

I also think many of us here wear our jackets long so we are surprised when someone wears one several inches shorter. A thin build also makes a jacket sit lower and Harry was pretty lean. Dan is around Harrison's height/weight and he popped on a 23 inch Tony Nowak replica in full costume. It hung r...

The Victory horse is dark seal. It's lightened up over time. The color is quite red in sunlight. Don't get a horsehide Indy jacket if you're worried about screen accuracy, though. It doesn't have the same drape, and stuff. But it's an awesome jacket. I'll take some more photos soon. https://lh3.goog...

The back of the collar on the BK Relic Hunter does not hang back as dramatically as it did on my Nowak Raiders.
