I don't think anyone commented on this the first time; my size is a 58 cm. Still possible that I'll get it before 2009?

Regardless of what US Wings says, I suspect that have modified the cut to be closer to the new jacket. Collar, sleeves (they seem to taper much more at the cuff than usual)… pockets look the same as usual though.

Is the side seam meant to look that way? On the Wested's they are strong overlapping seams like those on the shoulders - here they are different. It does look like a smashing jacket, however. Wested didn't make the original. Cooper(s?) did, in the USA. I personally think it's a smashing design too—...

I think that, properly distressed, the Magnoli would look more accurate than most Wested LC jackets! But do you really want to do that? Why not wear the buggery out of it and have the pride of a naturally-distressed jacket decades down the road? This is why youngsters getting a tough jacket at 17-20...

Have you thought about soaking those pockets and stretching them out into a more Indy-like shape? Wested's pockets can look a bit yucky and formless compared to the shapely beauties on a Todd's standard, for example! But you can change that, quite easily.
