I'm dressing up for a Halloween party at work tomorrow, so I dirtied them up . . .

Re: Todd's 1917 S&W
I just got one of these myself. The first thing I thought when I opened the box was, "I'll have to paint the barrel". I see your point about safety. I don't see myself running around in public with this in the holster. I'll mainly use this for a "full" suit up and that is usually...

Re: Nine year old Aldens
Aldens are built to last - hence the high price.

Nine year old Aldens
I bought these at the Alden store in San Francisco nine years ago. The salesman asked me if I wanted them boxed up and I said "No, I'll start breaking them in now". I hiked around the city for three or four hours and was amazed that my feet didn't hurt. I've only used a little Pecards now ...

Re: Wested Pants Sizing
What a disappointment. After several emails, Wested just let me know that the pants won't ship out until after Halloween. I ordered them almost a month in advance.

Whip holder too big
Several years ago I put together V1 of my Raiders outfit. At the time, I borrowed a very nice, very expensive whip from a friend. Eventually, he wanted it back and I never got around to buying one of my own. Now, with Halloween around the corner, I've been asked to suit up for a party. With no time ...

Re: Wested Pants Sizing
My problem now is that I need some for Halloween. I'll probably just order a new pair and trade or sell the other.Indyzane wrote:I ordered my Weated pants in my true size and they fit perfectly. Maybe try sending them back for a larger?

Re: Wested Pants Sizing
Please understand, I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to understand the difference in sizing.

Wested Pants Sizing
I ordered a pair of Wested's Indy pants in the same size that I buy for jeans - 34. I can't even get them to button! I've read that US clothing companies have been "cheating" sizes to make us fatty Americans feel slimmer. Is that the case here? Judging from how these Indy pants fit, I thin...

First Post - First Jacket
Hi Everyone, I've been lurking here for some time, but I finally purchased my first jacket. I picked an off the shelf Raiders from Wested in lamb. My first choice would probably be HH, but I live in southern cali and I'm afraid that's probably too heavy for the climate. I own a few A-2s in HH and lo...
