You guys are going to love the way Wested goat breaks in and gains grain. It takes a few years to get there but it is worth it. A spell in the shower with some pecards once the jacket has dried kickstarts the process.. otherwise plently of daily wear.

I have a hero jacket and a ROLA so called 80s cut which was an OTR purchase some years back. ( Wested no longer make the latter). The main difference is the off the shoulder look and effect.

I am another old one who watched Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea first time round. As a boy growing up in England this show along with Thunderbirds, Stringray and Dr Who where required vieving. An yes...great jacket. Shunken lamb I assume?

I think KTs pictures tell the story. I did go to the store and can confirm that it is a well made piece of kit. The zipped top would be useful. I might take the plunge as I have to be back in the same town in a couple of days

First, I want to say that I love my hero jacket, but did anyone else get theirs with a typical Wested label and not the Leather Concessionaires label? This is no big deal for me. I disagree with the observation on age and the raiders jacket. It depends on if you have kept yourself in shape, especially around the core. The finished product is good. I have seen the prototype earlier this year. I suggest the Wested bashers hold fire until we have seen a few of these.
