Re: Post your Adventurebilts here!
Still awaiting my 2 AB hat orders as well - ordered on March 13, 2008 and May 6, 2008, along with an order of extra hat ribbon. I've emailed Steve just twice over the last 2 years (so as not to inundate him even further), after he had responded to say my orders had been misplaced and he was going to...

There have been no new posts here for over 2 months. Am I to assume no one has received their ABs yet, or have new pics to post? I'm waiting on my March '08 orders still, but will be sure to post pics here when (if) they arrive. Has anyone corresponded with Steve lately? I sent him an update request...

I selected #4. When I picked up my Jacka CS whip from Colin, he put on "the popper" using this method. Now I use this method to replace my other crackers. I think I might try method #1 next time though - it looks to be the most secure.

John, I think a good avenue of approach would be to offer, as Michaelson says, a "base" SOC hat with no distressing, at one price. Then, if a buyer wants you to do the additional work like adding in the sweat stains and fuller's earth, etc., that would incur an additional cost. I believe T...

As long as provenance can be proven, collectors buy the provenance. Well put, Michaelson! And with these hard financial times, collectibles, not real estate, are proving to be the best investment. Hey, the way I look at it, if people are irate and want to call and complain and cancel their AB order, that's fine with me. That'll just move me up 'one hat on the block.' That 1970's comment thought wrong is understandable. Short, brown leather jackets inspired by A2s were very common back then. I remember. As were hip high jackets of no particular design. For me, if anything, the Indy jacket has an 1980's feel to it as well - hardly surprising since it was created ...
