After looking closely at both the boots from Sportsman Guide and LL Bean, I believe these are the same style boots, but DIFFERENT construction. the SMG have a 3/4 Goodyear Welt, meaning the welt ends at the beginning of the boot heel, whereas the welt on the LL Bean boot, is a full welt, meaning it...

The model 15 is a .38 special, K-frame with adjustable sights. It's basically a model 10 with adjustable sights.

Thanks for the replies guys. Well I got the Frye's, and they were too small. They were a very nice boot, but definitely a casual boot.
