Wow! I realized I never posted pics of my $30 jacket. Here's what it looked like with a little bit 'o sanding and sleeping on it. Best I could do on a budget and short notice. (Still get called "Indy" so I guess it worked!)

LLB tends to change things without posting them on their site. I'd call to check. Ther person I talked to earlier this year said that they didn't have the flaps on them, that's why I went with the chinos.

The year round pair doesn't have the flaps, the chinos do. I'm really happy with the pair of Chinos I bought a few months ago. They've help up really well in my adventures in retail. Almost too good, because they still looked too new when I did my Halloween costume.

I used a 320 grit sanding sponge on a $30 close-enough jacket this weekend. Turned out pretty well I think. I think the sanding sponge worked better than just sandpaper because I could get a good grip on it, and it's more pliable than using a sanding block. I'll post some pics in a day, bit for now ...
