I wouldn't ask your wife or girlfriend about that, they'll get suspicious.Rambler wrote:How soon after the midnight showing will the posts appear asking how to get mascara stains off of a leather jacket collar?

I dressed as Indiana Jones at work on Halloween this past year. Thing is, my normal work wear consists of khakis, a button down shirt, and often my trusty Akubra. No one really noticed, save for my 8' Indy whip on my belt. I had the same thing happen to me at work. It kind of made me afraid for my ...

Do you really expect to win by mentioning a boy band to a group of adventure lovers? What you need is a limerick. Here's the first one. :whip: There once was a professor named Indy Who carried a whip that was quite bendy. We've all waited too long for his brand new adventures At this rate I’ll chew ...

I've kept a short beard ever since 1981, shaving it completely off only once since that time. But that clean shaven look didn't last very long. Now I can just trim it back to stubble length, and at my age, the gray and silver highlights don't need any screen magic. The grey is my problem too. Once ...

Shorty, have you seen my razor?
Well men, it's almost that time so I thought I'd do a PSA and say to toss your razors until the premiere. I don't know about you, but my stubble may look SA in person, but the photos always look like I need to wash my face. Just thought I'd mention if for the folks that need extra time for facial ha...

Wow! I realized I never posted pics of my $30 jacket. Here's what it looked like with a little bit 'o sanding and sleeping on it. Best I could do on a budget and short notice. (Still get called "Indy" so I guess it worked!)

I bought the WPG shirt/bag combo. I was pleased at first, but after wearing the shirt a few times I'm looking for a new one. I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the shirt. It's a little too blousy for me. I could smuggle about 5 large bags of Doritos into the theater because the thing is so l...

I used a 320 grit sanding sponge on a $30 close-enough jacket this weekend. Turned out pretty well I think. I think the sanding sponge worked better than just sandpaper because I could get a good grip on it, and it's more pliable than using a sanding block. I'll post some pics in a day, bit for now ...

Thanks for post. I saw that thread before I ordered them, and the ones I have look a tad greener than that. Here's a pic of my duds. http://www.surf-rat.com/indygear/duds.jpg (alt+p) They photographed more accurate than they look. The shirt looks lighter than it is, and the pants look darker than they really are. The pants are almost the same color as the background color of the forum. Almost like a faded...
