I wear a different hat to work every day. Straws in the summer, felts in the winter.

I wear it anytime outside from vehicle till I get to my office, when it goes on my hat rack. When leaving, I put it on my head, put on my coat, and go home.

I never wear my hat while working in the library.

Joe's PolyPro's are blue in color. If you didn't get one, let me know and I'll drop one in the mail to you. The black bonded nylon ones are more screen accurate, but the polys crack better, and won't damage your thong due to tangling.

One tip: Get some of Joe's PolyPro poppers. They are less apt to tangle, and won't damage your whip like the bonded nylon can.

Please, oh PLEASE don't over pecard your whip's thong. The braided part of your whip only needs pecards sparingly. If you overpecard it, the laces will come loose, and you'll end up having to rebraid the fall hitch. Pecard your fall every single time you crack your whip. Be carefuly about getting it...

Tell him you want a 8ft "Indy" style 12 plait whip, with an extra large Morgan-style knot like he has done for some of the other guys on the board here. Also tell him you want a wrist loop.

The key to getting that Indy look is the extra large Morgan style knot.

I don't like bonded nylon poppers, as they can become tangled up on your thong, and cause actual damage to your whip (it happened to me).

I prefer crackers made from poly baling twine.
