Probably just as well. Getting things in and out of country is pretty much at a stand still now if you use USPS due to the pandemic. Yeah, I too sent him an email (to both addresses) about 2 weeks ago to get in touch with him about a clean and re-block, but haven't heard back from him. I just send him another round plus a PM, so we'll see if he gets back to me.

Removing snaps while keeping them intact is not really possible. Snap tops are set like rivets, when they're pressed together the metal is furled backwards to effectively meld the two pieces together. When you pound or cut the snaps apart your left without the post on the snap top you need to refas...

Those studs on soldier of fortune look like the guts of the snap that broke off, but the front is smooth with black on it. I might have to buy a set and rub the paint off like you suggested. Thanks for the idea. It may resort to that too.

MKVII snaps

Hello all,
I have a MKVII bag that has the snaps with the ring around the outside, and has the tooling rough surface on the inside. One of my snaps busted off and cannot be fixed. Does anyone know where to get new ones? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't care if the ballcap wearers don't take their hats off, it's impolite, especially with a hat with such a tall crown. Agreed. If we're to bring back wearing nice hats (which used to be part of a dress code), then shouldn't we bring back proper hat etiquette as well? Our standards as a society...
