I have a slightly sad, but funny confession to make. I have since gotten much more tired of my Expo's newness... So i bought a multi pack of sandpaper w/ different grits... starting with the fine grit. I worked for a while... didn't make a dent. still shiny as ever. So i went rougher...still nothing...

tips for distressing?
I've had my Gibson & Barnes/Flightsuits Expedition for 3-4 years now. I choose the beautiful Russet brown goatskin. The jacket has held up great, and is loosening up, but stil has new looking leather. I know some have distressed their Expo with favorable results. Has anyone distressed a Russet j...

off topic holster question
I dunno if anyone here has much experience or has used Prairie Flower Leather Company (www.pflco.com), but I have a question about em. Has anyone ever had them make a shoulder holster? I was just wondering, as I had them make a raiders holster for me, and know they're affordable. I'd like a shoulder...

Webley spotted
I caught the new "flight of the Pheonix" yesterday, and spotted a webley. It's used by a nomad/smuggler/guy in the Gobi desert, and then later used by several members of the stranded passengers. Also, spotted what may be (or maybe wasnt, it was a dark scene) a hi-power or a 1911. anyway, f...

Collins, when you get the boot, take a look and see if you can tell if the sole could handle a little grinding for those who want a more accurate look. Thanks - IJ There's enough sole there that you could grind it down, if you wanted to, I guess. I don't know anything about re-soling boots, but it ...

Boot Potential's-
I haven't been around much lately, but I don't think I've seen these here before. Part1 I was shopping for hiking boots yesterday, in my mall (45 miles from where I live), and went into American Eagle Outfitters, as they usually have clothing with a more rugged style. Well I found the closest thing ...

Easy break-in for Expo?
Hey guys. I'm trying to think ahead here, and get my russet goat expo I purchased last Nov broken in. I'm not wanting to distress it, but just to break in and soften, that sort of thing. I've heard to sit on it while you're driving, but is there anything else? Thanks.

How does it shoot? Well, when the trigger is pulled, it causes the firing pin to.... Never mind. Actually, I've been looking at this pair of pistols (the Mil-Spec and the GI) for a while. I didn't see what the price was. What was it? I've been considering re-blocking my fed delux sometime. I think of going to a LC of ToD look, and see what I though of it. Also, do they have any open crown blocks, so it can be shaped however you want, since obviously, I can't get the Temple or LC look...

Question about my Expo
I've had an goat G&B (formally FS) Expo for 2 or 3 months now. I love it. The only thing. On my wested, I tuck the pull tabs back into the D-rings. Can I do this on my Expo? It has slider buckles.

I'm currently reading The Action Hero's Handbook, and it teaches that if outnumbered or at total disadvantage, Escape, live to fight another day, to return in a sequel, unless the world's currently at stake. Right?

Though I've handled High-power (it's way cool), but never shot either it or a CZ, I've noticed the siimilarities (I read my gun magazines regligiously-well, used to anyway. Actually, just cracked myself in the back, leaving this really cool red streak across my ribs and shoulders. I was doing what I guess you would call an underhand crack, and was letting it swing up and land behind me, then doing it again, well, onetime, I was starting to crack, and it wasn't onthe gr...
