That was exactly my logic in going with Gus' whip. I went from pictures on his website and low and behold...a real nice whip came in the mail.
I would like to get a nice kangaroo whip eventually though. When my addiction has reached critical mass I'm sure I'll pony up for a high end whip.

New Caicedo Indy Whip
Just got a new whip from Gus Caicedo at purewhips.com . It's an 8 foot, 12 plait cowhide Indy style. Nice work and tightly plaited. Cracks beautifuly. I'm very pleased. I recently bought a bullwhip from a guy on ebay. Seems pretty nice. 12 plait 7.5 ' Indyish Brown and black. 2 layer core & 2 layer belly-1 plaited 1 wrapped. Figured it would be better than a similar priced Mexican whip with a rope core or some @#$%. Anyway, been crackin' the mess out of this th...
