Holder Question
I tried to use my whip holder yesterday for the first time. However my problem is that when I put my whip, a JS 10 footer, in the holder the handle ends up sliding down so that it is down at my boots. :? Am I doing something wrong, do I need to tie the whip somehow so that it doesnt do that. All I a...

From what little shooting I've done, and from the coversations I've had with the experts I know, the 9mm is a useless round. Sure, you can hold more rounds in a clip, but you need more rounds to take down a target... and sometimes you only get one shot. I am not going to try to start a fight about ...

Thats a good point Michelson. I forgot how weak of a round the 9 used to be compared with the other rounds. I have never dealt with any of the moon clips so I cant say much about them but the six round clip would definatly load that big smith fast enough. I have never liked the spray and pray method...

Top coat in LC
I am trying to get a complete outfit for LC. I have gotten the majority of it but I am trying to figure out the top coat that he was wearing in the airport scene. Does anyone know what it is. To me it looks like a wool topcoat that he is wearing over his leather jacket. I would appreciate any info o...

Indy Josh I recently got a JS whip and went from the MA swivel 10 footer. The first thing you will notice is that the JS is alot faster. I have also found that it cracks way eisier then the MA. I got mine from Mark Allen and it is a thing of buety. You will have a great time using it congratulations...

Indy backpack please chime in
I am trying to get suggestions for what all of you would think Indy would have used for a backpack. I am looking for something that can carry enough supplies for my weekend adventures. Any ideas or suggestions were to look would be great. I was thinking one of the US military packs but would like to...

Cleaning a whip
I have just got a new JS and I cant seem to put it down. I have been using it lately but the only place that I can use it is mostly grass but there are patches of dirt. Anyways about the last two feet of the whip is getting what i would call dusty i have brushed it off with a clean soft shoe brush b...

New JS 10 footer
I just need to say that I dont have a great knowledge of whips but I got a Eight strand whip from Mark Allen and figured that it would be a good practice whip. After I got it and started playing around I figured I wanted a good Indy whip so I ordered the JS one in brown. I have slowly been getting t...

I guess I should have been a little more specific in my original post. I was also wondering which one to get. I have read the previous posts and I see that some prefer the Jell but on pecards website it says to only use it to break in the leather and then to switch to the classic. As I said the gear...

Gear care
I just ordered a wested Jacket and I was wondering what leather conditioner I should use on it. I would prefer to be able to use one kind on all of my leather stuff, I love simplicity, however if this isnt a good idea then i can change. The other items that i have are my boots and of course the whip...

Bigger bag alternative
I just thought you might like to know that I went to Old Navy last week to pick up some more pants and they have a good size heavy canvas bag for sale. It has a canvas strap that could easly be replaced with a leather one. It isnt a VII but it is about half again the size if not more and it works gr...

Pecards vs. Obenauf's?
I was wondering if any of you have ever used Obenauf's. I have used it for years on my White logger boots and it is great. It is a natural beeswax mix developed by a firefighter for his leather wildland gear. I was just wondering if anyone has used this product and what there experiance is. I have a...

Question about storing whip
Hello all. Thank you for all the great information that is gathered here. I just got my first whip, it is one of the starter bullwhips off of the Mark Allen site. I can tell that this is definitly going to become addictive very fast. I already want to get another one and this one isnt even broke in ...
