Wait... which way was I supposed to go? http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r54/Stormpaw/outside.jpg I am quite proud of my new Adventurebilt. I am also wearing my Wested and Aldens, both have seen nearly five year of daily use and still looking good (except in the summer when it is to hot for me to ...

That looks like one darn fine riding jacket you have there. I always disliked cuffs with elastic or zippers on them as well. I do get quite a draft when riding with my ToD jacket if I don't wear the right gloves, but that never stopped me. =) Nice hat too, by the way. Looks alot like the hat I wear ...

Interesting. So they are back to the red-brown now? I can't keep up.erri_wan wrote:Well I bought them from www.aldenshop.com. The colour is red brown... just the white balance not properly set, as VP said.

Actually, there is a third choice - not introduce another jacket... Yes, very true, and I agree we probably didn't need another jacket choice. However, I didn't mention that one because, for Todd, who is trying to make money by providing something people want, that probably didn't seem a good option.

It has been too long I hardly remember, but it seems like they where wrapped in white paper inside a shoe box with the Alden logo on it inside a shipping box, and nothing else. I bought mine from http://www.aldenshop.com though not direct from Alden. Also, the color of your Aldens is a bit darker th...

I have always thought we are very lucky Peter offers such a fine custom made jacket for so little money. I am sure he makes what he considers an acceptable amount from each one, but he has always said he sells them to us so cheap because we are getting a wholesale price. That means if someone wants ...

Heh, there is no escape. :D Well, I am certain someone else can answer you better than I, but I will put in my two cents. The original was lambskin. It is softer and drapes a bit better than goathide. Also, lambskin is easier to distress if that is what you are planning to do. The goathide on the ot...

Pictures are always good. :D However, it is pretty easy to tell the differance. The most resent colors are the red-brown (standard color for bricks), orange-brown (looks like a pumpkin) and brown (will look like the current picture on Alden's site). Since you just bought then I doubt they are red. C...

I have never heard of someone hemming their pant legs like that, being shorter in front than back. I will have to ask my wife (former seamstress for the LaJolla Playhouse in C.A., Broadway in N.Y. and my personal costumer!) to see what she thinks. All of my Air Force blues pants (dress pants) have ...

Although I don't have a Hi Power myself, I've read that the mag safety prevents the mag from completely falling out of the gun when you release the mag. IMO, this is a problem (although small) if you're using your Hi Power as a defensive gun. I don't own a Browning HP either, but if they are like t...

Sometime pretty soon I want to change to the Singer sweats as they use American sheepskin, and the only sweatband maker to do so here in the States. They are softer to the touch, but look identical to what I am using now, colorwise. Just gotta use up what I have in the F and T sweats. Heh, interest...

Ah, I am sorry to hear there won't be any more rabbit felt AB fedoras. I was planning to order one. Guess I will have to wait awhile and try to save up enough money for the beaver felt. :D Oh, and hey guys. I've been roaming these boards for a few years off and on, but I finally registered and decid...
