Re: KotCS Backpack (UPDATED thread on Germany Army Rucksack!)

OK guys...I just purchased this backpack. It looks pretty close (with the exception of the "leather" bottom). http://ep.yimg.com/ip/I/cbaker8702_2052_192511833 What do you think? :-k The dimensions look pretty similar to the German Mountain pack...maybe slightly larger, but I think it is ...

Re: KotCS Backpack (UPDATED thread on Germany Army Rucksack!)

It is similar to the KotCS pack but not the same. The most obvious difference being the metal frame. Indy's pack was frameless. It is still close enough to catch the spirit of the screen pack and is a great alternative if you don't mind the differences. Yea, I recognize the differences. The frame c...

Re: KotCS Backpack (UPDATED thread on Germany Army Rucksack!)

OK...never mind! I just got off the phone with this company and they said they didn't even have any of these backpacks in stock (and never will)

They were very polite and refunded my money, but...I don't think they are very organized.

Sorry for the premature recommendation!

Great Deal!

Indiana Jerry, Thanks so much for the scoop! I haven't posted here in AGES! But I have not left my love for indy gear! As a matter of fact, in a recent move I lost my original bag and strap that served me so faithfully, but I had my "extras" safely put away! Well, not the straps....until n...

New Pair of 8126's

I just thought I would throw my 2 cents in here. I just recently bought the RW 8126 boot at my local RW retailer. It did have to be special ordered and they took two weeks to come in. But WOW! I can't say enough good things about them. Yes, the cost is a little high ~$190.00, but that is nothing com...
