a halloween hat

I'll confess that I am lazy when it comes to doing searches here. I'm looking for a fairly screen accurate fedora for Halloween. One that isn't too pricey, since it's just for a regular seasonal thing. Can someone provide me with some links or some info about getting one? Thanks

leather dressing

I know this topic has come up a bit, but I need some clarification. When putting leather dressing on a whip, how much should one use if the whip is mildly dry vs. very dry. What I'm asking for is a visual. For example: a teaspoon, tablespoon. Every time I put dressing on I'm always wondering if I'm ...

Alden's and Fuller's

I think this has been discussed here before, but can anyone tell me if putting fuller's earth on your boots is a bad decision? Of course I'm dressing up as Indy this year and I want to have a "dirty" look. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks

If you are trying to make one for an occasion like a halloween costume, then you can probably do what I'm going to do because I doubt I will get one in time for halloween. I'm using my current whipholder from Todd's and then I'm using an extra fall to tie around the whip and the holder so it won't c...

non-slip whipholder

Anyone know where I can get a good non-slip whipholder. I've emailed Molaram and Adam and haven't received a response. Any ideas? What about WSP? Are they non-slip? I need one for halloween.

The best thing from my experience is to not carry it with you onto the airplane, or even check it into your luggage. When I traveled through Seattle airport I had to FedEx it to where I was going. It actually beat me to my location. I wouldn't even want to put it into my luggage for fear that it mig...

Indy 4 shoes...Aldens?

Did any one noticed at the end of the new Indy movie when he was dressed for an occasion ( I don't want to spoil it if any one hasn't seen it yet) that his shoes looked different. Maybe they were Aldens that weren't distressed, or a different shoe all together????

Does anyone know when Mr. Morgan stopped making his indy whips personally and began using other individuals in the process with him, or without him?

I completely agree with Bernardo. It didn't feel like an Indy movie from the first 15 to 20 minutes. Shagbd, You're right! It's not a whip movie, but if the rest of it was descent and felt like an Indy film, I could probably live with it. Here's an experiment and I hope this helps: If you're disappo...

I just got out of a midnight showing, and yes I'm very disappointed!!! What's the point of practicing with the whip, if its rarely used; as well as change the whip all together, when you rarely see it (or Harrison use it for that matter). Plus, some of it is digital. That's all there is to say. At l...

Hey IndyFalco,
What's your chest and waist measurements if you don't mind? I emailed Todd and gave him mine and he said either a large or extra large, but I want to be certain before I order one, so I don't have to send it back.

Hey Mulceber, The service was really good and attentive. The gentleman was telling me how the indy boot is their #1 selling shoe, especially lately with the new movie coming out. I left happy (except my wallet) and will probably return if I ever need to buy another dress shoe. K on the Run, The whip...

New Alden Shoes

Hello everyone. This is my first post here. Just wanted to share a pic of my new Alden shoes I got today at the store in San Francisco. I was a little reluctant to buy them because it's a pricey shoe, but I was surprised how comfortable they were and I really liked them. I don't plan on distressing ...

Nice whip Weston. Here's an image of my EM whip I got in December '04. Whip #1667. This is my favorite whip. It cracks so easily and it's extremely loud. Just a flick of the wrist is all it takes. Yeah...I remember when I first laid my eyes on it. I always told myself that one day I would buy myself...

Is this normal

These are a couple of images of a DM whip I bought last summer. I haven't used the whip as often as I'd like and it is still breaking in. The plaiting on the rest of the whip seems fine, except for this area. Is this normal? I compared it to 2 other EM whips that I've had for a few years and they do...

Jeez...That is too close. Glad you can still see. The sad thing is I have eye protection that I bought 2 years ago and have never worn it. I guess its time I do  To be honest though, it's kinda cool. Not many people have scars on their face from a whip, so embrace it I guess. What type of cra...

Pay attention to the 1:15 mark on the trailer. When the image is from above. Indy is using his whip to swing, but it appears to still be on his belt????

I have two whips from Bernie. A 10 ft. 12 plait indy whip, and a 8 ft. 16 plait. Both are great whips, and he's a good guy to do business with. Anything you want, he'll make. I couldn't be happier with the construction of his whips: Smooth and tight plaiting, etc., etc...Can't go wrong with the Bern...

I just bought a DM whip from him personally when I went to visit a relative who lives near Bothell, WA. I got a chance to meet him, and I wasn't surprised that he was an EXREMELY nice gentleman (there must be something about whip makers, since all I've encountered are pleasant individuals). I bought...
