Well just a thought, go to the Indy V section, there some picture of Indy’s jacket where the sewn up a “bullet hole” and it looked ok, more of :-k past adventures. Just a thought, I’m no leather guy, but it seems to me it might be hard to disguise it, more like embrace it. Croft  Yeah, it'...

Re: Is it possible to make a leather repair virtually invisi

A hole or a tear? A good leather guy can close a tear pretty easily, but a hole is difficult and often they'd recommend just replacing the whole panel. Is it in the middle of the leather panel or on a seam? Along a seam you can do some things to disguise it, but in the middle of the leather panel i...

Is it possible to make a leather repair virtually invisible?

I've just purchased a second hand jacket in black nappa leather and on close examination have noticed what looks like a small flap of leather about half an inch long, a quarter wide, stuck down to cover a hole on the yoke at the back. Although it doesn't scream out, I'm wondering if there is anythin...

Good to hear, Michaelson. Being in the UK, I'll have to factor in shipping costs too. And not sure how it's all going to work with the current COVID situation. I've also been a bit hesitant because I hear they don't deal with the inner lining.

Idol grab just edges it for me, as it looks more at home on his head, an extension of his character - a trusty old friend he's more likely going to risk his arm for trying to retrieve (I know, wrong movie). While the Jungle one looks good too, it looks more new out of the box to me with a more indep...

Do Wested also take waist measurements into account with custom orders? I bought my current hero goat second hand and while it is a little tight in the chest when fully zipped, it is very loose and baggy around the waist. So I'd want to avoid that with my own order.

Yes, here:

At the 7.10 mark. It's a very brief clip.

It's been about thirty years since I last watched it, so it's not exactly as I previously described. The cup is not on the grass, but on a very low twig. Funny how memory changes details over time.

Whip length and crack in TOD behind the scenes clip

In the classic making of TOD documentary, there is a clip of Ford practicing his whip cracks in Sri Lanka. Basically, he is facing a ground height camera and manages to hit a paper cup that is on the grass in the foreground. Does anyone know what type of crack he did and the length of whip used?

Also, how effective is it with helping the jacket conform to one's body shape, as in to hang closer to the body?

I used to own Land's End chinos with the rear flap pockets which I'd bought over ten years ago. Good quality, but far too baggy for my liking.
