Well, I guess I'll jump in and say it must be related to age. I'm at that age I just don't care. I wear my fedora with anything. It's a tool. A covering for the head to keep the sun off in summer, and head warm in winter. It keeps the rain and snow off my noggin. I've been mistaken for Indiana Jone...

Steele & Jones '36 Horsehide

Hi all, I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a new Raiders jacket from Steele & Jones. I already know I want horsehide, but they have two thicknesses, Standard and Thin. I'm tempted by the thin but I plan to give this jacket a rough time so I'm leaning towards the standard. Also, I plan t...

You know, after watching a couple of 'Mythbusters' I think the best way to go is to take a body cast of yourself and then make a rubber mould of your torso and mail that to Peter.

Mind you Peter would probably not take too kindly to having hundreds of rubber torsos laying around. ;)

Not only did my G&B replacement arrive, but so did my Wested horsey. The hh is very smooth to the touch but it feels like it will last forever. It is definitely a jacket to take some serious punishment. The horse is much heavier than the goat. The goat almost feels like lamb in comparison. Oh an...
