Re: Todd's S&W Cairo Revolver - who has one?
I'd wait for Todd's actual HE2 airsoft. It should be around the same price as his current offerings, but won't require the modifications needed to make the "Cairo" airsoft look the part. Personally, I think the M10 "suitcase" pistol might superficially look the part better, there...

Re: Magnoli Pants - CS Color
Do you have a pair of pants that fits you well?
Use the measurements you get from those pants, perhaps adjusted to fine-tune the size to make them a little more "Indy" and send those to Magnoli.

Re: Todd's Pants
I really don't see how wool pants are any more labor intensive to care for than the leather jacket or felt hat. If the gear doesn't suit the adventure, pick different gear. If you're really going out on "adventures" and getting really, really dirty, maybe officer's pinks aren't the right p...

100% wool. There's no reason to try to make a pair of Indiana Jones pants and get side tracked halfway there.
There are plenty of "close enough" pants already out there that are "kinda" Indy, what the hobby needs is a pair that actually gets the fabric, fit, and color right.

Re: Magnoli Adventure Pants
The most frustrating thing about the pants situation is that no one seems able to put together the correct fabric with the correct pattern and fit. Magnoli's got the tailoring down, but all of his fabric options fall short compared to the original cavalry twill. Wested has good fabric (though still ...

Re: Just got my WPG pants today
I'll bet if you held a tape measure up to the pants they'll measure out to the size they're marked.
Most modern clothing is sized a lot more generously than the size on the tag would indicate, but clothing from the first half of the 20th century (or replicas of such) were a lot more honest.

Re: pants... "'sigh"
I recall reading Wested did make patterns (or at least took a lot of notes) on all the Noel Howard gear when they had it. It just wasn't a priority for them to make the corrections to their shirt and pant offerings. I'm guessing they have plenty of current stock to sell first.

Re: Is the hat supposed to be the same throughout the movies?
I don't think we're intended to think this character has a wardrobe full of identical stuff or that he regularly goes to the same hatter, tailor or whipmaker. In Raiders, when Indy's talking to Marcus while packing his suitcase you clearly see a closet with several leather jackets and khaki shirts....

Re: Is the hat supposed to be the same throughout the movies?
I'm sure it's supposed to be different hats, much the same as the rest of his gear gets replaced as it wears out over the course of his adventures. We saw an entire closet full of spare clothing in Raiders, so it's clear Indy has a "style" for his adventure gear. Besides, I'm not sure ther...

So can you replicate that look from the screen caps using an actual head, hat, and turban or not? I'm genuinely interested in seeing this become more than just theory, conjecture, and screen caps.

I think Agent5's turban sans hat is pretty compelling, but does anyone else care to post a pic of themselves wearing a hat AND turban that matches what we see in the film as a counter proposal? Personally, I think if Spielberg would have asked Harrison Ford to wear the hat AND a turban in the Tunisi...
