Good to hear Robby! I'm looking forward to the pics :wink: Mine had a pretty strong "military surplus store" smell when I got it. I hung it outside for a few hours, and after a few days or so, the smell was pretty much gone. I just didn't want to risk having something go wrong in the wash....

Yes, it is dark green. It think the color is very screen accurate.
The true color is more like the first 2 pictures. The flash made the last 2 too bright, and made the color look lighter.

Hi everyone!

I finally ordered an MKVII from Endicott the other day!
Kevin said I should have it in about a week. This will be my first MKVII... I can't wait!

Is there a way we can know for sure what size Indy's bag is?
Maybe they used different sizes...I can't imagine they would worry too much about the size of the bag.

If you you compare the distance of the press-studs relative to the location and distance between the drain holes on the bottom of both bags (which look the same on both bags), it looks as if it's the same size bag...maybe it's just the angle, or lighting/dead spots. Photography can really play trick...

I think someone said you can just undo the stiching on the original strap. That way you can always sew it on again without cutting it and ruining a great, old strap.

I decided to get my bag from Endicott. I'm in the process of saving up, so in about 9 weeks I'll buy it...can't wait $\:D/$
