Re: Whip thickness/diameter? Weight?

Thank you. I think it seems small compared to the couple of whips I had years ago. Certainly is lighter. Matching what’s on screen is the point though and it appears it does.

I’ll just have to get better at using it!

Whip thickness/diameter? Weight?

Hi I recently purchased a Todd's Costume 10ft whip. I'm wondering how thick the screen accurate or Morgan whips are. The Todd's whip was thinner and lighter than I expected. It's 5x cheaper so that's not so surprising. I think the lightness makes it harder to crack, or maybe it's me. If this questio...

I've always thought the jacket looked Dark Brown to almost black on screen.

The authenic seems too light in the picks I've seen (though TLC jacket on screen is dusty in a lot of scenes to make it look lighter).

Isn't Indy lying down, more or less, in that scene?

I'm still a fan of shot placement over anything.

I figure shoot the biggest that you can control and you'll be alright. I do perfer the extra shots, on average, that a 9mm provides.

Although a few hi capacity .45's have been drawing my attention lately.

The 9mm has plenty of power behind it. The last stats that I've looked at has it around the 90% or higher (depending on ammo) for one shot kills. The .45, in some loads, was well below the 9mm in one shot stops. I'm going to have to dig up some numbers now because I'm curious again to how close they...

Women can surprise you in shooting sports. I've often heard they tend to shoot better because guys grow up playing around with guns and develop bad habits.
