Just so we're clear...

The LC jacket had a brass zipper, right? I've done a search on it and there was some conversation relating to this, though I was unsure as to where we all settled on it. Also, if it does have a brass zipper, does Magnoli offer it with his LC jackets? Seems he's one of the top dogs when it comes to t...

On account of confiscated guns and bullwhips and bullet-gashed jackets (Raiders), torn shirts and pants (ToD) and destroyed or lost shoulder bags (ToD/LC), I always interpreted all of Indy's gear as replaceable or surplus... EXCEPT his deliberately iconic fedora.

Re: New Todd's standard jacket just arrived and looks awesome!

As far as the Todd's standard goes, i purchased one in early 2008, and found the leather to be awfully thin, if it could be called leather at all. Sure it was light, but a jacket made of paper would be light too.. A lot of people disagreed, but in my opinion, the Todd's standard is a costume piece,...

Oh... my... God. Is this really a thread??? The 'crowning' of Indy in the beginning of LC was just THAT. It was ceremonial. It was symbolic. THAT hat is an extension of the man himself. We are given subtle hints as to Indy's sentimentality as far as his hat goes in RotLA and ToD. LC just cemented it...

I think most of the taper seen in the ToD fedora(s) can be attributed to it having probably the deepest center dent out of all of the film hats.
FYI: You can get a great suspension bridge hat out of a Fed IV. Just keep those side dents very shallow. ;)

From the looks of it the updated Todd's jacket no longer has the correct arm seam/yoke seam placement. What's with that? I have one of his earlier jackets and it's completely correct (arm seam 1inch below yoke). Why has it suddenly now changed?
