Well...after having a pre-distressed cowhide jacket for the past 8-9 years...I've finally gone for my 2nd coat. Tried unsuccessfully to get a Todds standard jacket (It was amazing...but unfortunately for me the size just wasn't right for my arms) So, just got my confirmation for my Wested Goatskin j...

I'm probably going to just go low key with the jacket (assuming I have i by then that is), maybe the fedora.

If there were a few people going dressed up then I'd probably go full on, but I dont think theres that many people here in Ottawa (only 2 that I know of...)

Definitely in.

Shipped to Canada (as long as its marked as a gift and described as 'antique prop/toy gun' its supposed to make it :) )

I'd prefer the raw finish I guess (comes in parts? test fitted, but then disassembled I'm guessing?)

Thanks!

Holt, I think you might be mistaking the '80s cut' for the 'ROtLA special' While the special is cheaper and has all the features mentioned, the '80s cut' itself can be done with any custom coat, its just a slimmer fit as you mentioned, but will only have 'no leather facings' if you request it. If I'm not mistaken the denim is based off of ToD specs, so its 1 inch longer (that would account for the different length), the Special is a slimmer fit, where as the standard is not, that s probably why it fits nicer for you. The special is supposed to come with the sliders...and I guess the denim...

If so, maybe thats all they did.
