I can attest to the fact that cat litter can leave powdery blemishes. There's often a fine layer of dust on the boxes I pick up from Sam's Club. The color is much grayer than fuller's earth in my opinion though.

Do you mean "look" like Indy appearance-wise, or "feeling" like Indy emotionally? "Feeling" like Indy is equatable with having confidence in what you're wearing, regardless of how it looks.

I agree with Erri that the top flap looks slightly different. Only to my eye, the diagnal corners are cut off too far from the side and bottom of the flap. The flap itself looks slightly too short; but heck, I've only seen one bag in person (my own), so I'm no expert.

This might be redundant, but I have to get a plug in here too. I often wear my AB in the heavy FL scrub brush, and even with the oak branches and briars scraping over it, the felt never takes a mark and the ribbon is just as perfect as the day I got it.

And to add one more thing, that fabric blend can be very, very hot. It's tough fabric, but it feels almost like a costume before a few washes.

Well, the fog won't break till Saturday, so I went ahead and got some indoor photos. The colors came out pretty warm here, but they still give a nice view of the contrast between the shirt and the pants. I'm quite pleased with them.

I just folded the strap and tucked it into my bag's back pocket. Since the bags are becoming harder to get, I didn't feel justified in cutting the original strap off, espcially after I saw that the original stitching had been repaired with the spare twine at on point.
