Re: Sergei (funeral service held 1/17)

Just dropped in to check the forum, and saw the terrible news. My wife and I met Walt on the Queen Mary. A great guy. We're both crying now in Walt's memory. I'm glad to have known such a great guy. Our condolences to his family. A sad time now, but We'll meet again. John D http://thefedoralounge.co...

Yeah, the shirt won't fit me, I'm into like a 3xl tall. From what I've read the WPG shirt is for me (and my gut!) careful, i thought the same thing. if you dont wear your pants at your natural waist (at your navel) they might be too short, i know they were for me... Almost forgot, Thanks for the ad...

Bummer how the drawing shows the stitching across the pockets, but it's not on the shirts. I wonder if the would make them with pocket stitching and epaulets. They were cheap, 9.99 each where I got them (Albertsons, now bought out by Sav-Mart). Maybe it could be a 15 or 20 dollar replica. Thanks, Jo...

Anyone else seen these shirts?

Hi Folks, found these at my local supermarket. My eyes jumped out of my head when I saw them. They rang up as mens shirts but they're really small to my eye, maybe they are ladies sizes? They're made by the casual threads clothing company. Pretty close match for off the rack. They also had them in b...

Hey Ape!

I read the forum pretty often, but rarely post. I'll try not to be a stranger!

Saw these:

Looks like they might be tough, and the toe is pretty close. They even say that it's the boot Indy wishes he had. :)

Thanks,

The Mary Terry pic is of DeWayne, who used to be active on Indyfan a while ago. I called them years ago as well, when I was deciding whether or not to get a Wested  (I've got a couple of them now). DeWayne had that jacket made a year or two or three before he found out about wested. After that ...

Good advice! And exactly why I was asking. I've got a 12 foot Morgan and two Indy style from Mark Allen, a 6 and a 10. I hate to beat them up. The 6 foot has become my favorite, as it's easy to keep it off the ground when cracking. One of my first whips was a Cattle Baron Leather company "Adven...

Anybody have a Mark Allen redhide whip?

I've been wanting to get one of these ever since they started offering them a few years back. It says they have plaited underbellies, pretty good for as cheaper whip, and the red-hide ought to wear like iron. Looks nice too, short handle, austrailian style. Sounds like a good whip to beat the ---- o...

I bought _'s Kangaroo jacket for my brother. He's sitting here as I write this, and he says it's a great jacket. The jacket is a lot redder and somewhat lighter than either of my Wested Jackets or my Expedition. He hasn't let the jacket get distressed, as he likes it to look like a dressy jacket. Th...

I lightened it up some, as the epaulette was shaded.

Hello, First let me say I think it is great that Peter will be making the shirt and pants! Second, can I ask if the shirts will be available in a custom size, as the shirt I got from MBA years ago went to my brother because the 2XLT was more like a regular Large size. I know the shirt has a slimmer ...

comparison pics here

Hi everyone,

I have some side by side comparison pics of an original mkvii and the WPG repro. Check them out here:

There is also a picture of a three drain hole MKVI, like in Temple of Doom.

New What Price Glory holster

Hi Everyone, Jerry sent me one of these to review. It is a repro webley type holster. Jerry was specific in saying that he wasn't trying to do a perfect Indy replica (like the officers pinks), but he thought that we might be interested. Here are some pics that I took on top of my lambskin wested for...
