I am awaiting my dark goatskin wested...I want to distress it my question is what doe the Acetone do? And how do you apply it?

Now on to the rough stuff what grit should I use as to not "F" it up in a bad way? while giving it that nice roughed up lived in look?

I went with the raiders dark goatskin. Oh the order was confirmed
I just wanted to make sure it went through...so I wouldn't have to order it again.

I ordered my Wested today...and yes I know of the timezone factor(they were open) but I did not recieve an order conformation of any kind...
is that normal?
Checked my bank account and the money is still in it.
Do they notify you when an order is recieved?
