Just to let everyone know, I bought one of Magnoli's Washington ties. It's beautiful, and I love it. Great workmanship, great material. Another Magnoli winner.

Just a tip. I wear a 17 - 17 1/2 inch collar in a normal dress shirt, so I ordered an XL from Noel (after asking him by e-mail if his shirts ran true to size). When I received the shirt -- which was clearly marked XL -- it was too small. I contacted Noel, and returned the shirt for one of his XXLs. ...

Just a brief description, based on my jackets and experience with same: Flightsuits goatskin is sourced from New Zealand, is chrome tanned, and a LOT stiffer than other vendors. They seem to be tough right out of the box, and actually take a brief break in period. Once softened, they wear like iron...

Just depends on where you say it too. I've had more than one armorer jump down my throat when I referred to a revolver as a pistol, so it's all in what school of training one came out of. Same thing will occur if you ever refer to a semi-auto magazine as a 'clip' in from of a professional armorer. ...

$600 bucks is too much for a fedora, unless Harrison Ford takes it off his head and puts it on yours. There are vendors on this site and others that can make it for half the price. Take the extra 300 and buy your girl something nice. You're right. If Harrison Ford took his own fedora off his...

In s past conversation he and I had many years ago, it appears we both discovered through the same Paramount prop source that the brief case in Raiders was just something they grabbed from the same said military surp...

Thanks, agent5, for those pictures. They confirmed one thing -- there were no straps on the front of the briefcase. I thought that was the case, and was glad to see it verified. Briefcases seem to have grown over the years, possibly due in part to the growth in use of laptop computers and the need t...

You are aware the Indy trilogy is just a fictional piece of entertainment and that Harrison Ford hated wearing that hat in the heat, but did it as it was his job at the time. Wait! Thanks, VP. I'd found that, too, but it's so hard to see much detail, as the ending -- at least as it appears on YouTube -- seems very darkly lit. I'd be very interested in finding a similar cardigan and scarf to wear with one of my Westeds as it gets colder -- and whenever we go up to Flagstaff. Ra...

Great results. I think I posted elsewhere that I got a Wested lambskin from another member here. The prior owner's predecessor had distressed the jacket, but to my eye it seemed a bit overly (and artificially) distressed. Not damaged, really, just a bit overdone for my taste. So, I pulled out the sa...
